COVID-19 Visitor Update
As always, the protection of our patients and staff is our highest priority.
As of Thursday 18 March 2021, in keeping with current social distancing guidelines there will be no restrictions on the total number of visits per day during the visiting hours.
Visiting hours are as follows:
- Monday – Sunday 10:00am – 8:00pm
Visitors will be required to sign in using the Healthscope Site Screening QR code on entry, but will no longer be asked screening questions nor be required to undergo temperature checking on arrival.
Visitors should NOT visit if they have returned from overseas in the last 14 days, or if they have been advised by the DHHS to isolate, as a result of coming into contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case or they have visited one of the identified case location and outbreak areas. If the case, access will be denied and visitors will be unable to enter the facility.
We apologise for the inconvenience and hardship this may cause, but appreciate your understanding of the need to keep patients as safe as possible during these challenging times.
North Eastern Rehabilitation Centre has free on-site parking and street parking.
Please note the facility does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles.
It is only a 500 metre walk to the bus stop just beyond the end of our street on Oriel Rd.
Ivanhoe train station is approximately 2km from the hospital.
A patient/visitor lounge is located near the nurse desk area to help patients enjoy the company of friends and relatives.
A TV is located in the room.
North Eastern Rehabilitation Centre has a designated smoking area at the rear of the hospital grounds.
Smoking is not permitted within six metres of the hospital walls.
Please ask a member of staff for directions.
Vending machines are available on site.
The hot beverages vending machine is accessible in the outpatient waiting room.
The snack vending machines are located within the hospital.
